About the CTCC Blog

Welcome to Calvary Temple’s blog. The main purpose of this blog is do provide an area on the web where Calvary Temple’s community can interact with each other. We went ahead and created a couple categories where you can find resources for the current message series and another where you can discuss events related to Calvary Temple.  The categories will appear on the right under “categories” as articles are created under those categories. Read the details about the categories we plan to dive into below. We want you to feel free to leave comments about articles and topics. If you have any topics or articles that you think others might like to read and comment on, please contact us and give us the link. Please keep your comments clean!

Message Action

The blogs that are in the Message Action category are aimed at providing opportunities go further into the areas we’re studying in our current series. We may post articles, ask questions or make suggestions that pertain to a message or a series of messages. We want everyone to feel free to get involved at a deeper level and to be given the opportunity to grow with us in an intimate relationship with Jesus.  If you come across links or articles that would add to what’s already happening it would be appreciated.

Past And Future Events

Did you recently attend an event at calvary, such as a conference or family or community event? There are some events that our church family likes to do every year for our community.  We’ve created a category where you can share input with each other about your church family’s past and future events for the community and for your church family. Your comments or suggestions are appreciated. This could help encourage others to visit and invite others, and it could also encourage and inspire those involved in helping the event happen.

Just wanted to share how much my husband & I enjoyed the Love & Respect seminar. First of all, just setting aside those two days to focus on us was enlightening in itself; we have five children & do not get much time away. I would definitely say it has truly changed the way we communicate. The concepts were so simple and made perfect sense. We would often find ourselves spiraling downward on the “crazy cycle”, but since the conference we take the time to think before we speak and it has opened more doors to communicating as husband & wife. Life often gets chaotic with such a big family and its so easy to jump on that crazy cycle but thankfully starting my day with prayer, ending my day with prayer and attending the conference has shed new light on our relationship. The same week we attended the conference that pastor was a guest on James Robinson and we listened to it all over again! A quote that has stuck with me is this: “God did not mean for life (marriage/relationships) to be complex, we make it that way.” I have encouraged others to attend the conference if they ever get the opportunity. Thank you so much for making it possible for us to be a part of such a positive experience!
    God Bless-
