Love & Respect Discussion

Hi there. Over the weekend we invited you to attend the Love & Respect marriage conference. We’d like to provide you with the opportunity to talk about your experience during the conference and what you took away from it. This is a good opportunity to learn from one another as well. You may have had a revelation that you could share with someone in a comment, or maybe someone has learned something that they can share with you as well. Talk with your spouse, or if you’re not married, think about some of the things you learned, and if you’re willing to, share them in a comment here on our blog. We’d also like you to feel free to let us know what you thought about the overall event and if you would consider attending this event or a similar event in the future. Your feedback is important!

Project Walkway-Season Premiere

Read 2 Peter 1:3-11 One time each day this week. Mediate on this passage each day.

Daily Reading

Read the following passages one to five times on the day they are assigned.

• Monday – Psalm 1

• Tuesday – Psalm 15

• Wednesday – Psalm 25

• Thursday – Psalm 51

• Friday – Psalm 73

• Saturday – Read them all one more time.

• Sunday – Be at church ready for the next Challenge!

Suggestions

Here is what I would encourage: Start tonight before you go to bed. Read again in the morning and than at a work break, before dinner at home, if married read it out loud together and than start a new passage that night at bedtime.

Prayer of Commitment

Father I thank you for your promises. I want your Divine Nature to live in me and to work through me. This week I commit to you to read your word and to open my heart to the moving of your Spirit. Do your will in my life and reveal your truth to me. Amen

Love & Respect Marriage Conference

In a little over a week, Calvary will be hosting the Love & Respect Marriage Conference. This conference will span 2 days and will be available for viewing via DVD. We at Calvary have heard nothing but good things about this conference as it relates to helping married couples understand things they never even thought to consider about their spouse. But even if you’re not married and are considering marrying in the future, you may be presented with some very good insight.

If you’ve attended the Love & Respect Marriage Conference before, please let us know what you thought about it. What are some real-life examples of how it’s truly affected your marriage. We look forward to hearing about it!

Welcome to the new CTCC blog!

As we were tossing around ideas about our next series, we thought it would be neat if we could get everyone involved a little more. Not just for the series itself, but it would be cool if we could allow you to communicate with your church family about everything from series to cool articles you might find on the internet and have us post. We look forward to seeing the family and community surrounding Calvary Temple communicate with one-another as we all grow together.

We also thought it would be neat if we could all talk about past and future events involving Calvary Temple. We think this blog can be a great opportunity for you to invite friends and show them what others thought about events we’ve done in the past. We’ll provide these opportunities as we have events coming up, and we’ll also start some conversations about past events so you can share your thoughts on those as well.
